Example: Be alert to the possibility of change to cross-talk between four people, which is much more difficult for the speechreader.
Homeostasis

the tendency towards a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes
Example: Homeostasis is present in all life, helping to stabilize and sustain an organisms' functions, regardless of changing outside circumstances.

(of a cell, structure, or organism) reproduce rapidly.
Example: cultured cells often proliferate indefinitely
